A new tin
A tin needs a manufacturer, a product code, a color name, a leftover percent from 0 to 100, a coverage figure, a room, a wall area, a surface, a shelf, a can photo, and an open-tin photo. The lid photo is optional.
The chip color is sampled by tapping the open-tin photograph. That color is the swatch on the home list and in the dip well. Replacing the open-tin photo asks for a new sample.
Log a dip
Open Log Dip and type a percent, or tap Empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or Full. The leftover volume follows the unit chosen in settings. Saving the dip updates the tin and keeps the reading in its history.
Rooms and shelves
A room is where the paint was used. Its area is the wall you expect to cover, typed in square feet. A shelf is where the can is stored. A shelf without its own photograph shows the current All-shelves photograph. Giving a shelf its own photograph leaves it unchanged when All is replaced.
Deleting a room unhangs its tins. It does not delete the cans.
Documents
Coins are taken only after the save or share finishes. Cancelling the system sheet does not charge. A document with nothing to include opens a notice instead of an empty file.

Image cards are saved to the photo library. The shopping list and the shelf inventory are PDFs, shared from the system sheet.
Coins
A new catalog starts with 55 welcome coins. Further coins are purchased as Quelmx Coins and charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. They do not expire and cannot be spent outside this app. Refunds are requested from Apple.
If the balance is short, the save button offers the wallet. The purchase sheet is Apple’s. A cancelled payment adds no coins. Other payment problems show a notice.
Reminders and voice notes
Stir alerts and low-paint alerts are separate switches. The preview lists only the alerts whose switch is on. A low-paint alert applies when a tin is at 1/4 or less. A voice note is saved when the recording is at least a second long.
If a step stays quiet
- A missing photograph, a duplicate shelf code, or an empty required field shows a notice above the buttons.
- Camera, photo, or microphone access that was declined offers a way to open Settings.
- A shopping list stays unavailable until at least one tin is at 1/4 or less.
